Falling in Love All Over Again
This weekend was all about falling in love all over again. With everyone and everything that used to be my life and has gotten somewhat washed away like wet sand by the shore.
(or like sands through the hourglass so are the days of our lives which just popped into my head at the moment and seemed fitting, though it was rather corny most of all)
Anyway...Friday and Saturday at Shira's house in East Brunswick made me fall in love with Shabbos all over again. Something about how her family lives such a modern life you almost wouldn't know that Shira is religious but keep the values of Judaism close to thier heart (not to mention they're shomer Kashrut, shomer Shabbos. Shabbos just flew by this at her house even though I did sleep a good 3 hours Shabbos afternoon. Spending Shabbos at the Lichtbrouns spiritually reinvigorated me as did the speech about Israel given by the Rabbi at Young Israel in East Brunswick.
Seeing my boy after 3 days of only talking to him on the phone or online also reinvigorated me but in a different way of course. (I know, I know, not much to you but to me its a lot.) I guess I fell in love all over again with him too! Tonight we hit up a New Brunswick party or two after deciding to skip out on the city, which was our original plan. He knew so many Russians in NB, it was crazy!!
It's 3:30am and I have a big smile on my face.
