A Frown Turned Upside Down

It wasn't raining or anything today, but I woke up as if there were a thousand black clouds in the sky, gray, gloomy, with a huge frown on my face. After pressing the snooze button at around 7:15, I fell back under the covers only to arouse at 8am, with a half hour to be out of the house. I had no time to do my hair the way I wanted to and it was one of those days when you have a million things in your closet and nothing looks exactly right. I pulled out a black suede skirt, a black cotton tank and a forest green see-through top to color up the otherwise all black ensemble. The green top slid down my shoulders, revealing a million different spaghetti straps, which looked kinda cool but it didn't matter to me. I felt fat and ugly and annoyed and my hair was a mess. I hated my outfit and I hated that I would look ugly at work today.
I walked into the bathroom dejected and found my baby sister there primping herself for the day. She glanced over, looked me up and down and I prepared myself for another insult. "I like your outfit today," she said, "It's simple, but it goes really well together."
"Really?" I questioned and a huge grin spread across my face. "I thought I looked really bad." "No, I really like it," she said. "Wow, that compliment made my whole day," I told her.
I will have a smile on my face for the rest of the week, confident that I look good because my sister said so.
Stella by Stella McCartney perfume invigorates me like the sweetness of a little sister. Scented with the contrast of soft, classic flowers spiked with amber, it lifts me up out of the worst moods. Stella is a sophisticated scent focused on an intense sense of femininity and its perfect to dab on wrists and behind earlobes, or spray all over. It's never overdone, more like underestimated---but the scent is an essential item for the sweetest of women and the most carefree of days.
Even the gloomiest days can be lifted with the sweetest compliment--or the most perfect perfume.
